My birthday was such a wonderful day. Scott stayed home to do a doctor's appt., podcast and oil change so he took Myles with him most of the day. I went to lunch with friends and can't remember the last time I laughed so much. We went to dinner as a family and then I escaped to the movies with a friend. I brought Landon since he won't take a bottle and he slept the whole show. As I was recounting my day to Scott and how perfect it was I realized that I didn't see much of my kids. Was that why it was so great? Partially it was; I haven't had a good break in a long time. I'm glad not all days are so me-focused, but it really made it easier to wake up at 3 and again at 6 with Landon last night. Yuck! But I feel reenergized and so grateful for so many good people in my life. I am so blessed and am truly feeling the love. I love life!

We blessed Landon February 1st. Here are some pics from the weekend everyone was here. Landon doesn't seem too thrilled with this pacifier, does he? This is my cousin, Steffie. She is so funny and so photogenic. I'm so glad she came down! Here Julie compares Landon's thighs to her forearm I love this picture of Myles! Bailey looks so cute! She had to wear Julie's stylish glasses to the park. Here is our first family picture since Landon was born. Scott with my uncle Russ, who was really close with my dad. I think the three of them will get along really well in heaven. Russ is a great surrogate grandpa to my kids and we appreciate it! Landon screamed during the entire blessing in the church. I can't say I'm surprised. I am so grateful that my mom came out from Japan, that my grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousin drove all the way from Utah, and that Tyler was here on business. I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. W...
