So, I missed Bailey's swim finals because I was at Wicked. She took 6th place but did not make it to regionals. Bailey had a great first year and we are so proud of her. We are so impressed that she made it as far as she did. She has always been a fish in the water and she's learning to focus that talent on the different swim strokes. She is so cute and such a great girl. She has tons of energy, loves to help with Landon and tease Myles. School starts two weeks from Monday and I will be sad to have her gone in the daytime. Love you, girlie!

Wicked was so great. I loved every minute of it and am already planning to see it again next year. How I would love a girls' trip to NYC to see it. I still have the music in my head and want to get the CD. I could not spend the $39 for a t-shirt (extortion!) but might buy one next time. I highly recommend this to anyone. I think even Scott, the anti-musical man, would have had fun. Thanks for the great birthday gift, love!

Tonight is Bailey's swim finals. We are so excited for her; she is one of 16 kids in her age group out of all of Mesa to make it this far. She will be competing in the butterfly stroke. I am so glad she is enjoying swim team so much. We are also looking into her newest love, synchronized swimming. I will have to miss watching her compete tonight because I am off to see Wicked! I have been waiting for this since February; Scott got me a ticket for my birthday and I am headed out with some good friends. I have so much to catch up on these past three weeks. Most recently we went up to Show Low with some good friends, Marci and Carlos, to her parents' cabin. The kids had fun and it was a nice change of scenery. At the last minute Marci and I decided to do a 10k run. It was a beautiful make-shift path throughout the neighborhood surrounding the Snowflake Temple and the golf course. The course doubled back several times and the spray-painted arrows were worn off by the time we got to

We have had some fun times lately. Bailey turned 7 and grew up all of a sudden. All she wanted to do for her birthday was do lunch and shopping with Grandma Peggy. She had a great day and said, "Grandma spoils me." Bailey also wanted to get her nails done so she used her birthday money to get acrylic nails. When she realized she couldn't suck her thumb, she immediately wanted to take them off. I was hoping this would be a good incentive to break her habit, but she chewed her thumb nail off instead. The rest of the nails were off within a week. She was quite the diva while they lasted. Bailey is so creative and fun. This past weekend we had my friend's two kids while she and her husband went to San Francisco. Her kids are 9 and 12; I got a little taste of what it is like having 5 kids. We were definitely busy, but I enjoyed having older kids to help and something was always going on. Our house feels a bit empty now that they are gone. When I wean Landon in a few months
