I had three major events to put on (fortunately not all by myself) in 10 days' time. We also have had family visits which are so much fun. Stressed did not even come close to describing how I lived in November and most of December this year. Since my last post Landon turned 2 on November 17th. He is so much fun right now. He seems to be the only one who can entertain himself these days. (I admire all moms who love every minute of Christmas break). He is talk
I'm crazy! Between now and December 11th, I will be helping with a bridal shower, doing a Relief Society dinner, putting together my mother-in-law's wedding , doing our big church Christmas party and doing the vinyl for a Super Saturday. My life is very busy and luckily Scott helps me to delegate what I can to my committee. Needless to say, I will be very happy to see December 12th and relax and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas. I will probably not be blogging until then!

Lots of California pictures!

Grandma Peggy with Bailey and Brooklyn Holly and Bradie Bailey the Superstar Myles at the dentist with Bubba Bear (the traveling teddy bear from preschool) Landon carrying around a box of cereal (I'm biased but he's a handsome devil!) It has been a busy two weeks, and some of what happened I hope to never repeat. 11 days ago I was stung by a scorpion and my toe is finally regaining feeling again. It was in our house, but we think it came home from school with Bailey in her jacket. The pain was worse than when I had to have my appendix out or even labor. I was so grateful it got me and not my kids. I have since sprayed furiously outside and in. I never want to see another scorpion in my house again. As Myles tells people, "We LOVE dead bugs!" I do love to see dead bugs outside. I haven't seen anything inside, which is a good sign. Last Wednesday was a rough day for me. Full disclosure has always been my policy with this blog, so here goes: I was almost 13 weeks alo

delicious carrot cake from Costco for our Daddy/Daughter Derby Landon has to feed himself always Landon in my high heels after a bath- Check out the tan lines on this kid! My little Landon is at such a fun age right now. He is starting to talk more, he wants to say prayers (is that not the closest thing to heaven, too?) and he is curious and delightful. Sometimes he is crazy and loud and stubborn, but he is easily distracted from his tantrums and has such a great laugh. I love watching him try to be like Bailey and Myles, but also doing things his own way. What a clown. I'm so grateful for him. The last few mornings I have been out with my boys in the jogging stroller trying to run again. I had to take two months off for undefined health reasons. I was exhausted by the smallest things - we're not just talking tired, but sheer bone-numbing exhaustion, felt as soon as I got out of bed. All my blood work came back normal and I have a follow-up in a couple of weeks. I think my doct

Scott and Bailey on the big day My mom's parents, Mom and Bert My dad's parents family photo-op at the church our wonderful Bailey I completely forgot to write about the most important event this summer: Bailey's baptism! I did write in my journal about it, but didn't blog it. It was such a wonderful day for our family. Bailey was so radiant in white. The Spirit was so strong. Many felt Scott's and my dad there. When she came out of the water we both almost cried. We had so many people come to support our little family and we felt so blessed. Bailey had 5 great-grandparents there. My mom and Bert flew out from London to be here. We were very excited to have Scott's family come, too. We had a luncheon of 50 people afterwards. I don't know why I didn't take pictures of our friends and family during the luncheon. What a feast! I am so proud of Bailey for making such an important choice. She has definitely shown us a great example. She prays over things I d
