So, I missed Bailey's swim finals because I was at Wicked. She took 6th place but did not make it to regionals. Bailey had a great first year and we are so proud of her. We are so impressed that she made it as far as she did. She has always been a fish in the water and she's learning to focus that talent on the different swim strokes. She is so cute and such a great girl. She has tons of energy, loves to help with Landon and tease Myles. School starts two weeks from Monday and I will be sad to have her gone in the daytime. Love you, girlie!

The famous North Shore Waikiki Sunset Gorgeous Day at the Beach in Waikiki Many people have asked about the marathon and I cannot do it justice with just a summary. If you want to hear, "It was rough but went well" then feel free to skip the long narration that follows. Hawaii was amazing. I needed the break and truly appreciate the opportunity. Rough Day

Yesterday was a really rough day. Both of my boys get bronchiolitis when they get any kind of congestion; basically they wheeze and we use breathing treatments every four hours for a week until they get better. Their breathing isn't too labored, but they don't sound very good. Landon has been wheezing since Sunday so I took him in to the Dr. yesterday. The nurse practitioner checked his oxygen level and it was 99% so he was getting oxygen despite the wheezing. I assumed she would tell me to continue the breathing treatments at home every four hours for the next week. This is the same procedure with each boy every time either one gets a cold and it goes straight to his lungs. I was very surprised when she told me I needed to take Landon to the E.R. immediately. I asked a lot of questions, mainly, “Why am I taking him to the E.R.? Is it really that serious? What am I supposed to say when they ask why I am there? Pink Eye!!!!

I woke up to the lovely sound of my screaming newborn at 1 am this morning and my right eye was burning. Turns out I have pink eye; I have never had it before and neither has Scott or the kids. I cannot believe how painful it is! I remember my greenie, Hermana Pocock had it in Venezuela. The revered cure-all down there is the lemon. Everywhere we went the people would tell her to squeeze a little lemon juice into her eye. Can you imagine how painful that would be? Not to mention what it might do to her eyesight. All I can say is thank goodness for medicated eye drops. It temporarily relieves the pain and I can't wait to be cured from this. 24 hours cannot pass soon enough! Yesterday our lesson was on the Second Coming. Bailey often asks me about when the Savior will come and what it will be like. I cannot wait to see the Savior and see what life will be like then.
