Thank goodness for children. Amidst our grief over losing Willy, Bailey provided some comic relief. After seeing this sign she said, "Look, Mom! Free Smoking!" We got a kick out of that.
Willy passed away today at 12:37pm. We will miss him terribly. Thanks to all for your love and prayers. Please keep them up on behalf of Peggy and Jill.

I didn't know you had a blog, I'm sorry about your Father in law, that must be really hard for you guys. I have no doubt that Bailey is the gal to go to for a laugh :)

The famous North Shore Waikiki Sunset Gorgeous Day at the Beach in Waikiki Many people have asked about the marathon and I cannot do it justice with just a summary. If you want to hear, "It was rough but went well" then feel free to skip the long narration that follows. Hawaii was amazing. I needed the break and truly appreciate the opportunity. I have said in previous posts that I know the Lord guided me to this path and despite the many challenges, I am grateful. The week before the marathon I did an 8 mile run which ended badly with excruciating pain in my left knee down to my ankle and foot. New Family Pics

I don't have much to report. We had family pictures a few weeks ago. We met a woman who needed computer repair so we were able to trade the full cost of her skills with Scott's mad computer skills. What a blessing! I love how they turned out. I am so blessed to have such a great family. We are all doing well. Here is a brief update: *Scott is trying to survive the load at work. He has worked three unplanned overnighters in the last six weeks. He would work 18 hours after sleeping only 3, then head back to work the next morning. He is also swamped with his calling and being a wonderful husband and father. I am so grateful he is a hard worker with great integrity. *Bailey is doing well at school. We just love her teacher this year. She is doing great at math and enjoying piano. She is growing up so quickly it hurts sometimes. *Myles is having a hard time at school. I missed posting in January. I actually didn't miss it at all; I didn't even think about it. I have been trying some new things out and am limiting my time online. I am also making dinner every night thanks to e-mealz.com; I love knowing what I am going to cook each night and knowing that I have all the necessary ingredients. Why did I rebel against planning and organization for so long? Our food bill has gone down and we're eating healthier as well.
